How to place a Custom Order
Orders typically require a 7 day notice at minimum, but more time is always greatly appreciated and will make it more likely that I will be available for your desired date. There are occasions last minute orders can be accommodated, please don't hesitate to inquire. Something to keep in mind: When orders are placed more than 6 weeks in advance, we can also set up smaller payments spread out over the weeks, but the full amount must be paid by 2 weeks prior to pick-up/delivery. Just let me know if this is an option you are interested in at the time of ordering.

To start the ordering process, please contact me by one of the below options. The best way is through one of the written forms of contact. Things to include are the date you will need the order, what you are looking to get (the more detail the better, feel free to include pictures), and how many people you will need it to feed (if it is a cake).

Important information about Pick-up vs. Delivery​

Pick-up or Delivery

DELIVERY FEES - $2.00 per mile one direction with a minimum of $20

PICK-UPS - 4059 Hickory Fork Rd, Gloucester, VA 23061 (Belroi Market, I live down a bumpy, private dirt road, so it is best to meet here.

Once we have all the details determined, I will email an invoice to you for payment. If we are more than 14 days out from the date of pick up/delivery, a retainer payment of 50% or up to $250 will be due immediately to hold your spot or if within the 14 days of pick up/delivery, the full amount is due immediately. The order amount will need to be paid in full by 14 days prior to pick up/delivery for me to complete your order on time, so if you have paid a retainer the remaining amount is due by 14 days prior to pick up/delivery.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL - NO REFUNDS (please be sure to read the contract agreement that will be emailed at the same time as the invoice and return it e-signed).

CHANGES TO ORDER AFTER DEPOSIT IS PAID: There will be an additional charge of $25 for each change made to an order after the deposit is paid; this includes, but is not limited to, changes in the date, design, flavors, cancellation (using paid amount for another order, minus the cost of any time used towards the order and product already purchased), etc.

Tastings
Pick-up Tasting: We would schedule day and time for you to do a pick-up, at the pick-up location (4059 Hickory Fork Rd, Gloucester, VA - parking lot of Belroi Market), to take the samples with you to try. Each combination will be provided in the form of a large cupcake, which can then be cut into 6 pieces.

To set up a tasting, please email me at wonderfullymadarts@gmail.com with the desired date for the tasting and the flavor combinations of cake and icing (and filling if desired). I will get back to you with the times I have available for that date.
Payment Policy:
Orders are to be paid in full by 14 days prior to the pick-up/delivery date or when order is placed. All payments are non-refundable. If the pick-up/delivery date needs to be changed, it must be done 2 weeks prior to the pick-up/delivery date. If the order needs to be cancelled, a full or partial credit could be issued to use towards a future order, this will be assessed on an individual basis.
Delivery/Pick-up:
If you choose to pick up, please note that Wonderfully Mad Arts is not responsible for any damage that may occur during transport. It is always HIGHLY recommended not to transport on car seats, but place cakes on a flat surface (ex. on floor), take all bumps/turns at a very slow speed, and in cool/AC (not with heat). If delivery is chosen, Wonderfully Mad Arts is responsible for the safe arrival of your order.
Refrigeration:
If your order contains Italian Buttercream, Cream cheese or German Chocolate icing, pastry cream filling, mousse or pineapple filling, you must refrigerate it. Please ask if you should refrigerate your order if you have any doubts. I recommend keeping any cake refrigerated and only set out 15 mins to 3 hrs before cutting depending on room/outside temperature/humidity.
